somewhere in chicago a wrx'r thinks he raced me... last night, coming back from a coffee and frozen pizza run i had my first actual experience with a ricer.
there i was, making a left turn onto ashland off montrose, listening to sound of urchin and fiddling with my e.q. when i hear a car 'whish' by me and look up to see a silver wrx barely managing a second gear scratch.
i was thinking maybe the guy was in a hurry, but then when his hazards came on i got a little peeved. i had no idea there was even a race going on, i didnt even know what kind of car it was at first... i tried to catch up to him and actually give him a run, but he turned off on lawrence towards the lake and dissapeared before i could do so.
even tho i was on the way home, i ended up driving up and down, 'casing' ashland a few times to try and find this dude again.
i know, worthless post. just had to vent. i've spent what free time at work today trying to find wrx forums that this lamer mighta posted a kill on...
and if thats as quick as them damn wrxs get, well...

i dont know why its bothering me so much besides the fact i could have devastated the guy and missed out on the chance to do so. its kinda like some punk slappin ya in the face then running away claiming he kicked yer *** before you even got a chance to hit back...
i dont like to street race (mainly 'cause i'm mostly stock...) but i swear if i EVER see a stocker silver wrx on ashland again i'm taking it down.

don't let those stupid ricer punks get to ya... they would still do their gay assed flybys even if they were the only car on the road...
same thing has happened to me at least twice since last year. once you catch up to them they will just turn off or not even look at you... just ignorant little boys playing in the street.

I had a Honda Civic do that to me with twin tail pipes. Its either they ricer flyby and turn off or they fly by in traffic when you cant do **** about it.
