I was there, and I believe I've spoken to you there earlier this year. The heat and humidity didn't help the track at all. It felt like driving on grease. I had some tuning done recently though, and wanted to see how it would run in the heat and humidity.

Were you the one putting slicks on your car in the staging lanes?

I ran a best of 13.17 at 107+

I made five passes with #3 being my best. Do you know the grand total for breakage for the evening? In the 30 minutes I was there, I saw two cars break at the starting line.

Wow, that's a high number. Breakage from excessive wheel spin? The red malibu broke something in the drivetrain while still in the waterbox. I was coming up the return road and went by right as it happened.

yeah, probably the 10 bolt in the 'bu while he was doing the burnout, probably same thing with the T/A, there were two black 3rd gen T/As there though i think.

either one guy broke and went home, and another raced. or one guys car screwed up and then he fixed it (saw a guy working on one) and got racing again, i dont know

DSM car... my first guess transmission lol

The soupy air didn't help you much, so that's one thing you can blame for the slower speed

The problem with your tires is obvious, John Force must have given you the wrong set back Swing by his shop next time you're out there and get that resolved

by john force i mean the guy in the white B4C camaro with black rims on the front and MY stock rims on the back. (cop car...) however, i still love him. did you see him do a burnout? he lit them up past the tree EVERY pass. that's the last time i say "dude, go ahead and get them hot, that's why i got them"

i belive you also said, "carry your burnout past the tree to lay down a footprint" so i did the 3 times i ran on your tires. i dont plan on having a need for them again for a while...

3220 stripped with full tank of gas

3420 with everything, and full tank of gas

stripping the interior neted a whopping 200 lbs, not worth it IMO..
