Rt 66, Illinois, help? We booked the flight! We are flying into Nashville from Chicago on Monday morning Oct 17. We pick up the Z at the Museum at 11:45 Monday and then we are driving it home via a yet-to-be determined scenic route.
That's where you all come in. What tourist attractions are there to see/do between Bowling Green and Chicago? Any really good twisty roads anyone knows of? We are thinking of going through St Louis and taking Old Rt 66 up instead of 55. Has anyone done it? Suggestions? Or are we better off coming up through Indiana?
