Oct 14th Street Race @ Browncounty Dragway Please make this a sticky

I mentioned this to my Dad last weekend while we were at the U.S. Nationals, and the first thing out of his mouth was, "do they still run at that track?". He was impressed, and made the comment that he'd been there before (but obviously a long time ago).

i'll be in IF i can get my converter tune prior to the 14th. it shouldn't be a problem, converter itself will be in THIS week. after the converter this will be a strong 1/8th mile car and mediocre 1/4 car. i plan on going to beanblossom as much as possible after i get the stall and tune.

Update: We went to the track last night and ironed out some issues we had. The track is very well lit. The owner is having her crew do a total prep on the track for us. There is camping available if anyone wants to stay.
She would like everyone to make at least one run during sunlight. The very end of the track is a little dark. We are going to put some lights down there for the return road, but its just a precaution.
Hope to see alot of people there. I will be helping at the track, so I will make a point to introduce myself to everyone who comes. Thanks again.
