Id also like to hear an LS1 with any kind of true duals, or dumped exhaust. Ive gotten used to my quiet flowmaster, and id like it to sound a little meaner. The big tips hanging off the back are also getting annoying to look at. Who is all going to Car Craft, ill be going for sure as a spectator. Most likley all day Saturday. It would be fun to meet up with some of you guys and check out your rides

 

I'm taking my truck out to car craft and will be entering the burnout contest with it too.

 

I used to - ended up selling them off for a catted y and a catback - I wanted to keep my car lowered and the duals just weren't allowing it.

May be driving my 'bird back home with me at the end of July - perhaps we can go tinker around then.

 

If you do bring it back down here, let me know! I gotta hear that thing with the MS4 in it.

 

I have the TSP TD kit dumped and I have HP tuners to shut off codes if you want.
If you just wanna show up at porky's or whatever we can meet up and take care of all of it on the spot.

Hey I am a new user somewhat to ls1tech...I am from northern MN. Any of you guys ever take your cars to the track in Fargo?? There is a big weekend event Aug. 12 And 13 itd be sweet to get a bunch of cars up there.

 

Fargo is 4 hours from MPLS.
Theres a track in Brainerd (2 hrs) and one in Wisconsin (2 hrs), so if I ever do go, i'm prob gonna go with the closest one.
I grew up in fargo tho, so If I went I could go visit me mum.

Just out of curiosity where in fargo IS this track, im having a hard time picturing it. I'm thinking prob West Fargo if anywhere.

 

I think the physical addy is in Glyndon on the MN side - track name is Interstate Dragways - haven't been there in a while though.

I went to hightech today and got some baseline dyno #s.mods lid & GMMG catback.

i wanted to see what i have before install my QTP lt's.
i had hightech delete my rear 02's,air pump and skip shift.

01SS, how do you like your LS7 clutch? Im going to be needing one soon, and thats the one im looking at. Did you buy everything, like the clutch, flywheel, slave etc.? Did you install it yourself??

Those numbers look good, especially torque.

 

the racetrack in farog is acutaly in sabin, its just south west of west fargo, east on 94 a few miles out then south a mile or so.
Yea i have been to the brainerd track also, it would be fun to make it down there once this year, any big events u guys know about?

Heck fargo from north part of cities should be less than 3 hrs, not even 240 miles.

Anyone thinking of making it to that race weekend the aug 12 and 13?
or brainerd sometime?

the clutch is great. i had the whole system replaced at a local dealership.

 

it was $75.00 for the dyno runs& $150.00 for the mini tune.
$225.00 total.

 

I'm taking my truck to hitech next friday for a full tune before heading out to the summer nats.
