I'm looking for a great tuner in the mid-west area. I'm from Michigan and I am willing to go to IL,OH,IN,and of course MI for a GREAT tune. The reason I keep placing emphsis on the word great is because I'm willing to pay. Over the last 2 years I have been F-around so much by a couple of shops I will not settle for a "bargin" anymore. I love shops and private parties that give good deals and do GREAT work but I have learned if it seems to good to be true IT IS. I read so many guys that are getting the power and driveability out of their car and they credit the tuner. I want one of these tuners to do my car. Sorry for the venting but for those of you who have been screwed by trying to take the "bargin deal" would understand where I'm coming from. I want you guys/gals to give me your honest opinion/recommendation of a great tuner. Let um rip

i can personally vouch for mike at Straightline, i just got my ss tuned by him a few weeks ago and not only did he do a top notch job he explained everything he did to me and why. wouldnt hesitate for a second to go back if i needed to.

Wheel to Wheel isn't far from you in Madison Heights.They're not cheap but you won't get a better tune.

keep the good info coming. I'm sorry for making it seem like I am taking a poll, but after making several bad decisions the money is very thin so I really want to make it count this time. Thanks for all the replys.

That's why I had Wheel tune my Z06.My "cheap" tune didn't end up being cheap.
I had to pay for the cheap one,then paid Wheel to get my car to run correctly.
