I was wondering if anybody on here would wanna caravan up to the Speed Open house? We could meet up somewhere and all roll there together. Im gonna try to bring the camaro, hopefully im not in the middle of my clutch install then, but im hoping ill have the car. But lets throw up some ideas on where to meet and what not..Later

i'm setting up caravan from hooters in crystal lake which will meet at hooters in schaumburg then roll to speed inc....

hey ibanez7 what roads you taking? do you drive through st. charles? if so you'll prolly drive past right past my house ( I live on IL 64) if you I'll meet up with you guys and cruise out w/ you.

 

I'm north of st charles and rt 90.

I'm not sure how we will beable cause speed inc is kind of in the middel of where you live and i live.

but we can definitely figure somethign out!

Ibanez7: I am off of Rt.20 and Rt.59 in Bartlett if you want to meet on the way down. Not sure what you are taking to get there though.

as I stated in an earlier post I will be starting from Crystal lake hooters and driving to schaumburg hooters. The route is RT14 (crystal lake hooters) to south RT31 to west RT62 to meachum (schaumburg hooters) then to speed inc.

WS62000- yeah definitely meet us at crystal lake hooters! (note time below)

BADSZ28- I could meet you at penny road pub which is at the corner of 59 and penny rd right by rt 62.

Chevy Weatherman- you more then welcome to meet us at schaumburg hooters

JSTALS1- you more then welcome to meet us at schaumburg hooters too.

Yak- If you want to meet at either crystal lake hooters or penny road pub, that definitely cool. I know its a little out of your way. Penny road pub might be easier for you.


I'm not sure on times yet guys, does everyone want to be to speed inc at 10am or earlier?

right now I am thinking 8:30 at crystal lake hooters, penny road at 9:00, 9:20 at schaumburg hooters and speed inc at 10:00 this will give everyone time to meet up and allow a few minutes to wait for everyone if running late!

If everyone want to hit speed inc around 10:30 just adjust all the times back 30 mins.
9am for crystal lake hooters, penny road at 9:30, 9:50 schaumburg hooters, and 10:30 speed inc!

whenever i go out there, i drive through town
59 to 64, take that down to Gary, then theres two other roads to turn on that take you up to Irvin park road, then its like 2-3 blocks down on the right. i really wish mapquest would give better directions rather than town driving with right, left, right, left, right, left turns

 

Ibanez7- Ill meet up with u guys at schaumburg hooters then. Ill be in a MBM Z with silver grand sport stripes. Im getting pumped for this open house. Also to see some badass cars tearing up the streets.

 

I will probably just go straight there. I will not have my car and will need to mooch a ride off of someone else.

 

A bunch of us from the MFBA are meeting at the Cheesburger in Paradise restaurant right off of Butterfiled Rd. and Finley Rd. in Oak Brook. Its basically right off of I-355 and Butterfield. Anyone is more than welcom to join us.
