Default When to stop at US 41

Last Saturday was my first time at 41 so I wasn't sure when to let off. When racing in Dallas they had a set of lights that lit up green right when you crossed the finish if you won, yellow if you lost, but either way, it let you know when you ran the whole quarter. I didn't see any lights popping on but did see a small sign a bit past the clocks so I was running all the way to those, but didn't see any lights or anything, so I wasn't sure if I was running short or going to far. I was probably missing something while making my runs, and for some reason didn't think to ask anybody while I was there. So, anybody know where to stop out there?

ive never been to 41, but by looking at my timeslips i usually run about 107, so at 110 i usually let off

but to start with, im pretty sure the light boards are at the end, so when you pass those, let off

When you start going in the sand, pull the chute.

The line is even with the boards. I think they put cones there also.

if you have a slow car like i do, you can see your time pop up on the board (at least at every other track i've raced at) when you cross the traps...i assume this pertains to us 41 as well, but i haven't raced there yet.

By the boards, you mean the big signs where the times/mph are shown, or the little ones a little ways past them?

41 usually has a lil orange cone set out in between the 2 lanes for 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile, but i havent been there yet this year. they also need to throw a 2-3 ft stripe on the starting line. i get sicka seing all the ricers there on street car chaos stage with the rear tires

There's a line between the light boards...that's where I let off.

I just want to make sure I understand everyone. outside of looking for the bright orange cone I managed to overlook, the actual sign that posts the time is in fact the finish line?

I definitely agree about the start line, I hate watching people line up their rears. Not like I'm a pro, but at least I've got that part figured out. How can they not tell that they're a car length ahead of the other car???

They're both staging with the rears.
