Default just put on the LTs and ORY

I just got a set of Jet Hot LTs and ORY put on the SS this weekend. I'm in love! Just thought i'd share how excited I am about it. Not so sure the neighbors are as excited She sounds pretty good through a wide opened Borla muffler at WOT. Anyway, sorry to waste a thread, but I'm so excited about the new mod that i had to share. Thanx!

Hey, don't forget the cool guy that helped you put them on . Your car does sound pretty good, we need to get some videos of our cars.

Did you find your bung hole plug? Haha, couldn't resist

Congrats. One of the best moments is the first time you fire the car up after the install

Did you do it yourself? If so how hard was it? I'm thinking about doing the same.

ya, my buddy pete (bowtieman81) and i put them on ourselves. It took us about 5 or 6 hours with a supper break in between. the most difficult part was the little bit of grinding that i had to do for clearance. other than that it went smoothly.

That grinding would have gone faster if we had a die grinder instead of the dremel tool.

And, his 2001 exhaust manifold bolts were longer than my 2000 bolts for some reason. We had to put a couple washers on them so they would tighten the header down.

I had to hacksaw a small section of the excess flashing off of my passenger-side control arm mount in order to get my header to fit up in. There was no way I was going to hammer on my brand new headers.

We had to grind a small amount 1/8" or so off the driver side K-member. No header grinding
