Winter Car
Thanks, Justin
My old beater was a 96 cavalier. With a good tune up and an easy foot I got 30mpg in that car.
I paid $1,200 for the bird when it was all red hahaha. Paid near 2k for the cavi.
Out of the Cavie and the bird I would say the Cavie was better in the snow but it also had a little better tire.

I liked the 3800 Series II motor so much that I bought an '02 Monte SS with the same motor. That car is actually a lot of fun to drive, considering it's a FWD V6. But I still keep the Bonneville around because it's worth more to me as an extra car to drive than what I'd get for selling it.
i really only drove it as a daily for 6 months or so - 3 years ago. i have a company vehicle i drive almost everywhere now. i've kept it around just because it runs so well, requires so little maintenance, and gives me something to put all my car part stickers on. the little car has grown on me..
Our 95 Civic 5spd FWD is very good in snow. I had a 95 Lumina 4 dr that was great in snow too.
