Default ls1 shops in CHICAGO?

hey guys , next week im going to visit my sister who lives in downtown chicago, i am staying for 5 days and i just wondered if there were any cool places that have performance parts/stuff for ls1 cars in the area..... thanks

I would vote either go with Outlaw or Striaghtline..both are very good shops...

i got my stuff done at straightline... but it kind of far from chicago i got stuff from speed inc too they in schaumburg

Speed inc in elmhurst,Flp in naperville,Straighline in new lenox,Outlaw in joliet. Damn my cars a ***** its been to 3 out of 4 of these shops.

speed is in Schaumburg. But I would say go to straightline. Great prices with great quality!

strong coment there can you back that up? can you say for certain it was there fault? Speed did my 382 and havent had a problem. And I dont mean heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend that jim bobs car blew up.

I would personally ignore Torch'd comments, since he is making the "not me but someone else's car blew up" post.

I've known a couple hundred builds that have gone thru Speed Inc., and the few that issues were not install or tuning errors, but parts problems.

But Wicked's first post had a nice list...

he john, not trying to start anyhting here at all.. hell my buddy just put TD on his car and speed did it. They did a great job.. again not trying to start anyhting.

My point exactly Ive had issues with one I had mentioned a few years back,Didnt make any negative posts because most people know things sometimes happen.And its all in how it remedied. HECK DIDNT EVEN POST ABOUT IT.

not making a big deal that is why i am keeping my mouth shut.. for small stuff sure i will use speed. but for bigger stuff, i will take it somewhere else. jsut a matter of opinion that is all.. Larry is still a grat guy
