It doesnt only happen on race cars, thats why bill cant break his. We've seen a handful break them. Pauly, if you need one let me know... I think i know where i can come up with one...

Everyones been tellin me that the torque arm is puttin to much stress on it

You're exactly right. I had it happen to me on Straightline's dyno (Remember Mike & Tony?) I got a new tailshaft housing & a chassis mounted torque arm, and the problem never came back.

PSJ had the same problem when he had the 422 motor and was running 12s

yea get a tunnel brace TQ ARM. And go adjustable. get a saftey loop if you want.

Yes the stress from the Torque arm will cause the Tail Shaft to snap but the t/a doesnt move. If your motor mounts are weak the motor will flex a TON while your t/a stays still.

Or you have breeched the weight limit on the driver seat.
