California wants to kill all pit bulls,this need's to be stopped. If any of you out there are my friends, I ask you out of the kindness of my heart to repost this. If you're not my friend, I ask you search for the source compassion in your soul and repost this anyway. More importantly, if you're in a position to, DO something about it.
This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to anywhere. Someone has to try to make a difference...what if it were your pet?
It would be great if Myspace could be used for something good other than getting dates. Please pass the word along and post this...so as many people can see this as possible.

Its not the breed it is the owner, I have a pit that is about 18weeks old and it is from one of my brothers dogs litter, I love her to death, None of his pits have been mean, I am more afraid of a little god like a lhaso apso (SP) than a pit, That is the kind of dog my mom had and she was mean as hell, Damn ankle bitters, Any dog can turn

I think if they are going to get rid of pits they should get rid of dalmations too, which are more aggressive naturally than a pit. i dont however agree with this law.

They should kill all the "hip hop gansta's" who raise pitbulls to attack each other and people....its the "those people" (yes, I said it) that screw up everything. Its obviously not the dogs, its the "certain" owners.

Maybe a link to a petition to stop this would help. Posting on here isnt going to do anything, but if everyone knew of a place where they can voice their opinions, that may change everything.

There is now way they could pass this, like stated before it is notthe breed of the dog that makes them mean it is the owner. The same goes with Rotts, most people go those dogs are mean when really every rott I have been around was nice and in no way going to hurt me.

people that are scared of dogs need to watch dog whisperer. As long as youre chill, dogs ususally remain calm.
My biggest fear with dogs is them crapping on the floor.

I'm with SDB kill the people who make them mean or use them for fighting.

Honestly, I do not like Pitts, but I do believe the law is way to easy on people who support cagged animal fights. Hell, all animal laws are to soft.

I don't believe in this law at all! I know some people that have them, and they are great dogs. It is all in how they are raised.
