BTW, you can count on me to have both my cars at the track next year. My wife really wants to try and run against my Z28 in the Formula next year (it has some go fast parts coming, but still nothing even close to the Z's power level).
Ben does this mean you are moving back to the Fort?

Everyone else have a Happy New Year. 2008 should be a good summer here in the Fort.

Thats still dependant on what the Air Force decides they want to do with me. I am still waiting to find out if I got the pilot spot or not. It shouldn't be too much longer till I find out. If I do get the spot, then "no" I won't be moving back, however I still plan on trying to come home at least for a week or two sometime during the spring/summer and run the cars at Muncie with you guys.

So what does everyone have planned for their cars in '08?

I'm redoing the current motor in my car with some LPE Stage II heads, headers, and a progressive controller for the direct port. Hoping for 10.5 or better on DRs, we'll see how the stock rear end holds up, if it pops I'm thinking a 9" on a 4 link with some minitubs.

I've got some back burner turbo plans, but the guy I was working with on it flaked out (what is it with LSx turbo guys and being flaky exactly?), but I'll get to it eventually, probably mid mounted single just behind the transmission for now. Final goals are mid-low 10.xx passes without spray w/ stock IRS if it'll hold together.

A new Moser 9 rearend, possibly a new Textralia Clutch, and god willing the good fortune of driving this thing for a whole year without anything going wrong!

Anyone got any skinnies I could borrow for a few track runs to see how I like them this summer?

Thats right, I remember you saying you were going to be getting a set. Any luck on selling the wheels and tires you currently have?
