Thanks Joe, yeah you are probably correct on my shift points. They are set @ 6000 rpm. The beast goes thru 1st and 2nd so dang quick, I need to open the laptop and see if i can change them. I know it takes more than just changing the rpm to change. Have to also change the speeds also,(that's the tricky part)

This car practically looks new, and once we get it up and running with the APS twin turbo kit and the forged 402 LS2, this car should make good power. Bob

you think with that much power he would run a 9" like darren...50 k for a firehawk is a little over the top....looks like a KILLER car though....keep me posted on the outcome of the twin turbo and what power it throws down........

Yeah, he had us put the 12 bolt in it several years ago, he wanted to keep it all GM. I have one customer who put his on Ebay for what he had in it, and a guy came and bought it the next day for his son... You just never know. I do know Tim has way more than this in this car, we'll see what happens. Bob

no problem scott, just thought i would help you out a little. hey if you are back in town for a little bit, stop over and give tony a ride in your car. he has sold his chevelle recently, and we are going to go back to the engine dyno and make some more pulls on small block. he wants to put a single 4brl on her and convert it over to methonal.

Other things have taken center stage. The rearend will happen and the car will be on the road next year...not in any hurry at this point.

The 9" would have been for the Nitrous application not the N/A version. That has all changed so who knows??...oh wait I do. I may just take it back to nearly stock other than the motor which may end up in the 68 Firebird. Just not that important to me right now.

I was wondering what was going on like alot of other people are....you have not been out all year , just that one night that your hose came off....thought maybe something else came undone on the ss....even bob really did not know just said u were laying low....the rumor i heard was u had tranny problems also....but looks like that is not the case....382 in the 68 would be cool....make it a pro-tour type car...big brakes suspension and wheels with a currant powertrain.....

No tranny problems as it was built by RPM with Viper internals ....I may change the clutch as it is several years old and I don't like the fact it had to be rebalanced after the last install...not sure what happened there. It's the older version of the Spec Stage 3 so an upgrade would be good anyhow.

Gerber's 'Blazer' is a little more than just a 'Blazer'.

A $100,000 Tahoe??? I wish I was there to see that!

Other than a few minor things, the car has actually been treating me really well. My best times are still 11.3 @ 128 with the slicks and 11.4 @ 129 with the drag radials (best 60' time of 1.7). I'm confident its 10 second capable with the MPH, but is a royal pain to keep on the track with slicks and wide street tires up front. If I didn't have the big Bear Brakes up front I could run skinnies allowing me to keep it going straight.

All together, I didn't get as much driving time as I wanted this year, on the street or at the track. This was a really busy year for me in the Air Force (Damn Terrorists ). Hopefully next year I can get a few better passes at the track, and do more cruising in the Fort.
