Default Toledo and NW Ohio lsx owners....

Do you guys meet anywhere in the Toledo or surrounding area to hang out and BS about cars?

I would like to get together and check out everyone's cars and see what mods they have done.

I have a 99 Z28 A4 with a SLP cold air intake but looking to do headers, y-pipe, cat back, stall, and maybe gears this summer.

Fridays there is Parkway plaza in the evening that is basically a car show. However for more racing/fun stuff log on to toledotuners.com, thats more of a tuner/go fast/grudge racing thing. You will be able to see where "they" hang out, it often changes. Lately people have been hanging out at the Meijer on Alexis after midnight, and maybe a resteraunt called dg on Airport Hwy/Holland Sylvania next to Old Navy and Koehls earlier in the evening.

DG's as stated right there near Kohl's. I have only been there once. That's the place to stay out of trouble IMO. But like SILVER LS4 said, ToledoTuners.com is the place to get a little more info. Not to many LS1s though. I mostly just myself. Parkway is good but I work M-F night.

Yeah I was looking more for just the american muscle (F-body's, Corvette's, and even the Mustangs) crowd but it dosen't seem like there are to many in this area.

SweeTbone I would like to hear your exhuast sometime if possible, I did listen to the video but you can't beat the real thing. I am looking to do a very similar exhaust set up on my car. Might be going with pacesetter LT's and Y with GMMG cat back.

Thanks for the info guys

I'm from Toledo. Check out that toledotuners.com board. There are more domestic guys on there than these guys are leading you to believe.

Domestics, Yes. LS1s, No. I think there are maybe 6 LS1 F-bodies, but don't quote me on that.

As for the exhaust, no problem. I'm actually on vacation next week. If the Mayberry show is going on I may go on Monday, and maybe swing to DGs. But I'm totally out of the loop there. We can meet up there sometime, if not next week maybe on another weekend.

Thanks

I would love to see that rx7 run once you got done. Any mods on the ls1 or is it mostly stock?

Cool. I can definitely do Friday the 15th. The 16th would be possible early, but I'd have to bounce almost before it got started since the UFC PPV is on Saturday the 16th at 10PM. Gotta be home by 9PM for the pre-fight drinking.

C'mon dude, it can't be that slow. What's higher on the butt dyno, the Z or Stang?

Camaro 396, how long have you had the mustang? I could have sworn I have seen that car going down central ave. over by Meijer maybe 2-3 years ago.

Hey Todd, I think the next time I'm planning on rolling up there is June 30th. There was quite a few 4th F-bodies in tow, 8 LS1s made it up. One guy that rolled up with me (Friend of a friend) actually has a GMMG catback on stock manifolds and cats. Another guy just put a Magnaflow on his old lady's TA, still on stock manifolds/cats. Quite a few options if you want to hear some. I'm not sure what ole Camaro396 is going to do, but I seem to remember he was talking about a catback and a lid.

Dang, sounds like I missed out on a good time. As for the 30th goes I am going to be in Atlanta for a wedding but I will definantly catch up with you guys one of these days.

As for the exhaust goes I think I am just going to do the GMMG and be done with it. They have a few sound clips on their website and it just sounded the best.
