Whate the hell are you talking about? I said I'd grab a lane with you at an SCC event once I get my rear end and a few safety items addressed. I'm not scared of getting beat, and if you recall I turned you down when you offered me spots. Its just a race, theres gotta be a winner and a loser. I'm not worried about being either.
My point with the above post was that there are guys making ALOT of power with the items you listed, you mention it like those are limiting factors, like you went 9.0 on a 10 bolt with the tires the car came from the factory with. Aside from the heads I am running the same stuff, in fact I was supposed to have 317 heads but Dart hooked me up so well I couldn't refuse.
As I mentioned on CTR, I highly doubt I'll make an RSD, its just too far away, especially on a day when I have to get up early to work and won't get home until very late. I'm old, I'll fall asleep.
EDIT: I just watched the video you posted (couldn't watch it earlier I posted from work). I had no idea you went turbo, I might need those spots after all!

Check my edit in the above post....
Whats wrong with 41? It hooks, and tech is very lax (good for guys like me).
I tell ya, these days getting to the track is like coordinating a goddamn wedding for me. I gotta find a sitter, find someone to work for me, have my scrap actually ready to run, and somehow manage to not pass out while driving. I really prefer to have one of my friends with me so I have a backup driver for the ride home. That drive to 41 is BORING and dark.
I'd like to go to an RSD, looks like a good turnout there. The logistics are just difficult though.

Yeah, I watched that GTO burn too, it was BS. I carry an extinguisher in my car, I don't rely on the track workers to save my ****, and honestly don't expect them to care. I felt bad for that guy, I wonder if his ins. covered it? I told him to remove the pics of it he posted online because he mentioned the nitrous being the cause and if I were an ins. co I'd damn sure reject that claim.
You should come to the local 1/8 mile track if you wanna see shitty. It makes 41 look like 66. 41 may have some gravel on the concrete but at least theres concrete. This place is all grass and real gravel. The end of the track has a big dip in it so lowered cars scrape when they get on the brakes to stop. They don't prep it on "fun night", and we get a thousand hillbillies in p/u trucks who feel the need to do huge burnouts in the water to hook up their 190 HP 6000lb sleds.
I have dubbed it "The home of the tubbed out, alcohol injected big block'd, lexan windowed, ultra loud 12 second race car".

coles county ftL, I remember going there with Pugs (from the mfba) years ago . . . to quote "whack a hillbilly night" . . . oh so true . . . I can't even fathom taking a truly fast car down there
oh, you forgot to mention that the middle of the track is wavy as hell
