Default I Need Rollcage Welding--Central Indiana

I have an S&W Race Cars 10 pt. rollcage that I needed welded into my '95 Firebird. I'd like to find someone in the Central Indiana area that would be willing to do it for me. Please post if you can or know of someone who can.

Scott

That guy was really nice, but I can't afford his prices

$1,500 to weld my cage in, or $2,000 for him to build me one.

What kind of cage was it?

Custom bent chromoly 8-point is usually 1400 or so. I can see a 10-point getting close to the 2g mark.

S&W Race Cars 10 pt. cage. If it's gonna be that expensive, I'll just buy a welder and take welding classes.

Well you get what you pay for.

You'll need more than a welder and a few classes to be able to bend up and install a cage.

The cage is already pre-bent, cut to length, and designed for my car. I've had experience with installing S&W cages before, and they're made very well.

Unfortunately working with other peoples 'pre-bent' roll bars are sometimes more of a PITA than making a complete one custom. Most chassis shops will only custom build one for this reason. If they will install a pre-bent bar, they will most likely charge a premium for the 'hassle'.

Sorry, I overlooked the part where you already had the S&W kit. Joe does excellent work though!
