Welcome to Indy when you get here! In the past i've done all my tuning myself, but I made the mistake of selling my HP tuners with my last LS1 car

I've heard good things about Greenlight though

Welcome home! I see you registered on the CICC Message Board. Darren Harden is a talented builder /tuner and posts on the CICC Message Board. He does most of Capt. Insaneo's work who is on the 25 fastest list.

http://www.oreillyracewaypark.com/ try there, it should list events. As for preping your car for Snow, I wouldn't drive a RWD V8 car, too many morons out to hit you, better find a cheap DD to take care of that. My C5 wont see a salted road.

That is a HUGE negative! Darren used to help Benny out but Benny, along with many others, have gotten sick and tired of Darren's shady ways.

Builder - I would probably go with a shop in chicago or down in Texas. I have 3 places in mind who will be building a motor for me.
