It's like driving your kia to the Sox game instead of your cavalier...It just doesn't work right.

What are you talking about?
We sit with the dodge rescue truck....it doesn't matter what you drive to the wreck....there isn't any traffic
Please tell me WHY you need an ambulance

Here is one person's account of last sunday....
"My buddy just finished his bike so we decided to head down to the track today. All I have to say is WOW!!!! Guy at the gate didn't have change so I only had to pay 20 to race so that was cool. They didn't start running people until noon instead of 10. The left lane had no 330 or 1000' times and the right lane had no 60' times. Boards did work, no bikes allowed in the left lane for some reason. If you where running N/C they gave the car next to you a full slip as well with both times on it. **** was just not worth the trip today. "

I work on an ambulance NOT at the track....EVERYTHING we use is in the jump bag...which 41 has 3, and 02 tanks....we rarely crack open a cabinet in the ambulance....
Here's your idiot card....

I agree, keep this thread on track for those concerned about the future of racing there, dont turn it into a circus. If you dont like what giong there then stick to rt66.36$ to wait in line for hours, sounds dull to me,but i have never raced there in all of 33 years of racing and dont plan to.Any info from someone that knows about 41 will be apreciated.Wicked is your stroker motor in the 10;s yet!!!

ya i went threw that scenario over the winter, decided to just start racing the car instead of letting it sit in the garage, cause i was not driving it like maybe 5 or 6 times a summer.bought a new trailer and spent about 7500 on the car,i really need a built trans now,i cant believe this thing is holdin up,about 16 runs now in the 10, and about 150 from last year in the 11.im thinking about taking a ride tonight just to see whats going on at 41,just to get some sort of perspective of the situation first hand, tired of reading all of the speculation.

It's a shame to read about the track's problems....I've never run there, but I've read about and talked to several people that really enjoyed running there.
It's hard enough keeping dragstrips around when everything is going great at the track let alone a track that's turning on itself.

You're realllllly keeping it "on track"
The manager "Denny", is one of my GOOD friends....I don't like all the legal mumbo jumbo....so I'll say this...the track's issue is "probably" in the paperwork now with attorneys...and "probably" going to be resolved within weeks....it will "probably" be back to normal just like it was
