Default Thinking of selling my project car, but not sure what it's worth.

I'm starting to get the desire to start a build on an old hot rod, so I'm thinking of selling my project car. Not really sure what i could get out of it, so I'm hoping to get some input.

Car was a black '94 3.4 auto with 188k on the chassis. Is currently gutted with no interior. I have a rear end from a '95 Z-28 installed with v6 springs and the Z-28 shocks. Rolling chassis includes a BMR SBC K-member, Z-28 spindles and brakes. Brand new unpainted front bumper cover and pass side fender. Kirkey racing seat is really the only interior piece in the car right now other than the steering wheel/column. I'm sure there's a few other things, but I can't think of them right now.

Anyone have any insight as to what I might be able to ask for this setup (if I decide to part with it)?

My guess is not too much. I had a 96 hardtop camaro v6 5-speed no option car with a blown motor. 120k on body. perfect cantidate for a race car. car was still all together. I think i tried selling it for like $1500obo and nobody wanted it. I ended up giving the camaro + some cash to my boss for a blazer

And the PM's begin. I hope I don't get more "offers" like this.

Unfortunately, that's about what it's worth, if that. In the past, I have gotten a nearly mint loaded 96Z with 90K for $3,000 even. You can find early 4th gen V6 Camaros for $800-$1000 running. Without a drivetrain and only a few stock Z28 suspension parts, you'd have a rough time getting a junkyard to take it. Don't want to offend you, but if you're not interested in building it anymore, I would definitely jump on that $300.

We got a running 94 3.4 with interior for $1K. No interior/engine/trans.... You will be lucky to find a buyer at $700. The 94 just isn't a hot seller.

To be honest, that's about all it's worth. I buy and sell low dollar cars and I would only give about 300 for it running with the v6. Sorry dude but that's the truth.

Try 500 then lower it to like 300 if no one hits on it. See if that works. Pics would help also.

Yeah, maybe I'll just hold onto it. I've got more than $300 in the wheels and tires.

dont let anyone lowball you like that. come on people. the way i see it is the motor being out is actually helpful. less work for whoever buys it. plus it has a brand new bmr k-member. that alone is worth $300. plus the kirkey seat. plus the body is worth a couple hundred i would say. if you cant get more than $500 for it, part it out and you'll make more money.

I agree with some of the other comments. Back in the Spring, I bought a decent running '95 Firebird with REALLY nice interior for $1,000. Now it looks a lot like your Camaro
