Default Anyone have a SFI 3.2A/5 jacket?

I'm looking to get one for myself, but i really dont want to pay 180$ for it.

Anyone local selling? maby even borrow?(going to the track the 28th)

You think the track would accept my FireFighter jacket? it is NFPA approved and i've been in live burns with it

Is your cage and chassis fully certified? I would worry more about that first.

It may be a 9 second car with a 13 second driver, but that doesn't mean **** to the tech guys. If you go 11.49 or faster you need a roll bar, trans shield, etc.

Then your harness is only good for the next 13 days. Harnesses are certified for two years. You would have to send it back to the manufacturer and get it recertified.

If you're gonna borrow, hit John up (Mrdragster1970). He's a good guy and will hook you up.

Yeah, I know. A harness stamped August 2005 is only good until August 2007. Come September, you're screwed!

it's all crap that factory ones are good for 25+ years, but aftermarket ones are good for 2, especially when they're typically rarely used/adjusted since it's the same driver everytime and without a major shock to the stitching I don't see how they fail.
