I hope everyone has a good time at dyno day. Unfortunately, I had a bike rally in Ohio scheduled for months on Sept. 8th, so I can't make it.
James, I'll give you a call and we can meet and exchange parts.

Driven a few with a lot of mods.

Nice cars but WAAAYYY pricey and heavy.

Not sure how you can compare a stock 03/04 Cobra to a built 2 stage BBC car when it comes to power unless you are talking about the sound or talking about moded Cobras??????????

Nice cars thought but $$$

Put me next to Terry or any of the other local faster 03/04 Cobras and whe will see who drowns who out at idle AND WOT.

I just like a BBC with big cam rumble a lot more then a blower whine........ just me though

James computer is from the stoneage and he does not have the cable to hook his camcorder up to his computer and I think he is on dial up hahaha.

When we get a few issues worked out I will see if we can get my parents camcorder and post a vid or two up.

Ill have pics really soon.

I am sure James will be showing the video at the car show.

LOOKS like Ill be off that day. I have to work first shift next week (week long class) and might have to take that Sunday off to avoid a bunch of overtime.

Should have plenty of time to see whats up with the car.

That should be pretty easy on the motor.

Ended up deciding to wait to get the car till Monday after work. Got home after I got off the phone with you and my two neighbos on the circle with kids had their lights off and so far they have not said anything about the "noise" and my sisters neighbors are all old.

My mom said and I quote "that car is just CRAZY LOUD!"

I have a good idea of what my car will run and what it will run after I do the heads and intake and all but Im not going to post that.

If you run by remined me to pull the jets on both stages.

Also going to pull the plugs and put those suspension parts in you saw. Quite a bit of work to do.

Going to try and get a quick second gear pull in on the way home Monday. Really trying to work my way into it.

Im going to put it on the other side of the garage and move the silver car so I wil have a lot more room.

Also going to flush out the rest of the old 110 with a mix of Sunoco 94 and 110.

You should see this car going down the road at night........ BAD!!!!!!!!!!

Im glad I let my Dad drive it so I could follow and watch, killer looking car at night under the lights. He bliped the throttle going down the road so it was cool to hear that not in the car. He said he is interested to hear what it sounds like at full throttle hahaha

I can't wait to show it off.

Looks like that buddy of mine with the F1 Procharged LS1 Formula might be able to make it Sunday. I have to work so I will not be able to be there long.

Once this gets fixed I am going to get a bunch of pics.

Well you were talking about torque and sound. My old cobra put down over 600 ft-lbs of torque from the initial hit on the dyno (about 2000 rpms). With a peak of 670 ft-lbs with no juice. So they make some pretty good torque.

Can't argue that but its one of those things that where they are on a little different level. Ultimately I agreed with you that the cost is just to great (which is why I sold it).

Sure you will drown them out but that dosn't mean it sounds good. My car has cutouts and its loud as hell with them open but it sounds terrible. To me the modular fords have the best sound of any car made short of a ferrari.

Though I do LOVE the sound of a cammed motor.
