if it doesnt do anything then why does he have it? its obviously there for a reason...
your car isnt fast? you have a cammed WS6 with a fast 90/90 setup... shouldnt you be close to 400 to the wheels? sounds fast to me, otherwise that was a lot of money wasted to be slow. And yeah you probably could see matts car at straightline, I usually do, but dont worry, it only LOOKS like a race car.

I'm sure if you drove a top-fuel dragster then a 8-second car would probably feel slow to you too, and I bet if you drove a SR-71 Blackbird then the top-fuel dragster would feel like a go-cart. Speed is all relative. 11's is fast any way you look at it. But like you said, there will always be something faster. Unless you drive a space shuttle at 17,000 mph. I don't know anything faster than that which is driveable

I think Matt D and 99DWPTA would be a real good race even though I know nothing about Matts car other then some big tires in the back and some weight reduction I think it would be a good race. Even if its just for fun its basicly power vs weight which is always fun to watch.
99DWPTA looks like you have a real nice car. What kind of tire are you running out back?
looks like a nice car
quadd

Also refering to Matt Ds car 11s could mean 11.99999 at like 108 maybe he could spot you out a car or so. I think it would be a good race even heads up but ya better get a tire jk

Your car, with your mods is easily a low 11 second car if you can hook. Mid to high 11s with a trap speed around 118-120 if you spin and are full weight. My cam only '00 Camaro ran the 10.85 @ 126 in my signature on 17" rims with MT DRs out back, in +1500 DA, at a 3275lb raceweight. I hold drag racing lessons twice a month. Let me know if you're interested.
Oh, and yes my '99 is slow and only in the 11s, but I plan on shattering the stock internal record at the beginning of next year. I am not too far off...

You guys could also swap rear tires and spot matt out 4 and the hit. Now thats another good race. Also 99DWPTA has ram air so thats worth atleast another 1/2 car on matts part I dont know about you guys but I see a heads up match here
Id like to see that
sounds totally fair
good match up
