I will check out the Civic, but the buddies of mine that have them set up like that are not in my league. I am honest and can admit when I am slower and it wouldn't be fair.
As far as a "hang out", that is really not my style. I don't like to sit around in a parking lot for several hours just to try and get a $100 race off. I'd rather be at home banging the wife. I will be at D.I.D. on Saturday until around 4 or 5 with my car. Tell him to bring the car there so I can look it over and he can look mine over if he is serious about getting a race off. That night if he is looking to race, we can meet up and get the races off. No sitting around and crying like women. Let me know.

I remember Doty in the 90's, the incinerators, Clybourn, Elston, Amphitheatre. I used to have a 68 Chevelle SS white with black rocker panels that I traded to Santos, and got a 70 Chevelle SS with red rally wheels from him.
