lol its ok rodney i wish i was a M6 though....... yeah i know the 2.73's are killing me at the track but they sure do help out with the gas mileage situation. Plus they were still more than enough to take andy quite a few times......

I'll start with the fact that it is an AMC.
The hood has a hole cut in it for an air cleaner & it has neons on it & "custom" interior....I'll stop there.

I don't see that thing running 10s @ 132 either...But I could be wrong.

dave when i bought the car it had all the stuff done to it already so i cant take the credit for any of it lol. but the guy before had all the work and dyno tune done by Thunder Racing, i have the dyno sheet for it also. i got the car from louisiana it was definately worth the trip and the 14 hr drive back lol.

and BTW get rid of those 273's for some 373's. who cares about gas mileage lol.

next car on the list is the red c6 in town i havent had a chance to meet up with him....yet lol. have you raced jason lass in the lt1 red ws6?

you know ive tried idk how many times to get jason's punk *** out to play but he wont do it! plus he needs to rebuild his rear end because im pretty sure his differential is going out. so your going to try and take down tracy's c6 huh? not sure what all he has done to it so good luck and let me know if you get a run on him. and the gear situation is yet to be resolved until i know how my car is going to act with the new motor when i get home. i figure 15lbs of boost out of a T76 turbo should be more than enough to make it move with any gear ratio lol

oh and if jason does run you it shouldnt be too hard for you to take him. bbk shorty headers with full exhaust, gm LT4 conversion kit w/ bbk 58mm tb. cant be putting all that much hp out at the wheels. im going to go to lund motorsports and get dyno'd when i get home in august and see how much the ol bird is putting down. im hoping for atleast 370 rwhp when im tuned. Oh and Andy i just found out that jeff down in des moines with the black 98 WS6 isnt stock. that car has had some internal mods done on it.

If the C6 is an A4 with the 2.73 gears you'll have a good chance of beating it. If it's an M6 car you'll have some trouble. Especially if it's one of the new LS3 cars. Even though your car is a factory stripper the C6 should have a couple hundred pound weight advantage (they weigh 3200-3300lbs). The LS2 will be making similar power and the LS3 more power.

i raced jason a couple weeks ago. from a dig and at around 115 i had 4 lengths on him and he didnt even have me out of the whole he just spun the whole time but so did i. the c6 is is just the ls2 not the ls3 and im pretty sure its all stock and its a 6 speed. so im making similar power as he is and i have done reading and the 1SC's weigh about 250 lbs lighter than a normal camaro. so i should be around 3200 lbs. so ill just race him on an empty tank to shave off a couple of pounds lol. either way if i win or lose it will still be cool to race him.
oh yeah 15 lbs of boost on a your car should definately compensate for the gears lol.

With a mostly empty tank you should be about 3300lbs. You're both M6's. He should still have a very slight weight advantage. Your car should launch better. So it should be a drivers race unless he has some decent mods on there.

My dad had a AMC hornet amx when I was about 12. He rebuilt the motor and did body work on it because it had some slight front end damage. The biggest thing I remember about it was him being pissed all the time while working on that damn thing. Seems AMC changed parts suppliers/designs several times in the middle of a model year which made it very difficult to get the right parts for it.

As soon as he finished it he sold it and was glad to be rid of it...lol

I agree the chances of that thing trapping 132 mph with a 360 cubic inch motor NA on pump gas is very slim.
