35th LE SS for Sale
Hey guys I am putting the SS up for sale. It is a true 35th anniversary LE SS camaro with 99400K on it. The car has had two owners, me being the second. The car is an automatic coupe. I have kept up on all regular maintainence and have all the records. The body is in great shape with only a minor crack on the bottom of the front nose (from a rock kicked up on the highway). The interior is next to perfect with only slight wear on the leather seats. There is a small oil leak coming from the oil pan gasket which could be fixed easily. The only mods the car has are a slp loudmouth exhaust and slp air lid. I also have a diablo predator tuner that will come with the car. If you are interested or know anyone that is interested in the car please contact me. The KBB price for the vehicle in good condition is $11,900 for private party. I will be willing to negotiate the price with a serious buyer. Please PM me if you are interested in the car.

OK, so this isn't really LS1 related, but it is car related. A Marauder friend of mine is going to be in town from Waterloo this coming Friday - August 1. He will have his ProStreet Marauder named - ProRauder - in town with him and wants to go to Porky's. He knows that is not the normal cruise night, but I am trying to get some people out to hang out with him while he is in town.
He is guessing he will be there sometime between 4-6pm and stay until they turn the lights off. I will be up there with my Marauder around 6pm or so (maybe a little after). It is supposed to be dry, but hot out on Friday. So if you have your car out and looking for something to do come on by. His car is quite the site to see. Some of you may have seen it in Ames during Power Tour if you were up there. Here is a picture:

Last I knew Porky's bike nights were Tuesday and Thursday nights.
As for the Marauder at the track, I don't think he finished the tuning yet and also don't think he has run a full pass with the Nitrous. I know he is planning on Drag Week here coming up soon and I really hope he has all the bugs worked out as I am curious to see what it can actually do in a full 1/4 mile pass.

Bike Night: Tuesday and Wednesday
Sometimes the Corvette Clubs will do their own informal get togethers on Friday nights there. It just so happens he is going to be in town on Friday night so that is why we are getting together.
He is running a FAST computer setup, but as most people know, there are not many (basically no) tuners in the Iowa area. And you definitely can do a mail order tune on a setup like that. He has been doing a lot himself, but he really needs to get it on a Dyno and have someone god tune it - like Bob Kurgan.
He is hoping to be below 11.5 at Drag Week... And the car is full weight of around 4400-4600 pounds... Just the way it goes when you are doing something no one else is doing. Fastest Marauder right now, with the 4.6L DOHC, is running 10.3's with a Twin Screw setup on it. And next one is running 10.6's with a ProCharger (not sure which trim).
