Hello
I just wanted to stop and in a thank everone who has been a part of this thread. I always wanted a WS6 and now I know the ones I enjoyed seeing and admiring are members on this board. I picked one a couple weeks back and have enjoyed every second.
If any gathernings are scheduled please let me know. I would enjoy seeing the cars in person and gaining some knowledge.

Welcome to the board. What color is your car?
Quite a few guys on here go out to Bennigan's on Wed nights, Saturday nights is still up in the air...Not sure if Porky's is worth the trip or not. Mickey's in Waukee is doing car night on Tuesdays this year, not sure when that is going to get rolling.

Thanks for the welcome; it is good to see someone from Waukee on the boards. I have a White 2001 A4 that has 50k miles.
Thanks for information on the days and locations. I am hoping to have my door back together sometime next week, which is dependent on a part from GM that is up in Canada and the techs at the dealership here in town. I had a roller break on the bottom brace or bracket that attaches to the bottom of the window. I still have the new owner syndrome and cannot get past the thought of me cracking the glass.

Hey guys, I live in Des Moines and just recently got rid of my Z and picked up a 98 TA. unfortunately it has 2.73's which need to go ASAP. haha.
Wondering if anyone does gear swaps or knows someone that can do them for a good price?
Few shops I have called want $500-600 with me supplying gears which seems really high to me.
Thanks!

I don't think he likes how loud my gears are. I had Pat who the ws6store recommended me to do them. But then again I don't think I let them cycle nearly enough. He told me 50 miles. I went about 75 and got on it a bit. I've heard from other sources after gear install you need about 200 miles worth of consistent cycles to get them broken in. Correct me if I'm wrong?
I'm down for cruising whenever. Just need a holler ahead of time so I can drive down to Des Moines from Ames to get the toy

not gonna lie, i'm kinda looking forward to hearing the potato, potato sound of the vette. This spring weather makes me want to buy another f-body though and that's kinda depressing cuz it won't happen this year
