We (I am Eric's dad) are putting a Wolf Racecraft 6 pt. in Ksths1 C5 this winter, as soon as he gets his golf cart finished.....also...did you sell the GM hot cam you used to have in your lt1. I'm starting a lt1 swap in a 85 ElCamino I have for my DD.,& may change the cam if I can find a good used one before the engine goes in. I'll post a pic when I get some.

The cam is gone, I had put it in my firebird and I sold the car. Have you guys looked at any of the rollbars Todd Coufall has built?

I think Todd C. did Tim Sparks' blk Malibu & the primered Olds Cutlass of Van Zomerens', plus his own purple El Camino. I have never really looked at them close. All of them run at ERP.... Do you have any other extra LT1 parts that would help my swap?

Just before you pull the trigger on having Coufal do it, ya might want to check the "Booger welds" on the frame work done on Jason Van Zomeren's Olds (its flat black primer & has a big Arnold Motor Supply sticker in back window) - not sure on his roll cages though, i'm sure his work is good since he's been doing it for a long time

I'm sure he's a good welder since his work that he does are on cars that get beat on every weekend for many years years, he is a pretty cool guy. Let me know how it turns out!
Did you send your converter off yet?

Not yet, hopefully in the next month or so. The new house is taking up most of my time, and all of my money!

Well I am moving to Iowa, temporarily so I want to know where all the cool hangout spots are? I will be living in the des moines area for awhile while I start my new job. Do I qualify for a spot on the fastest list with a time of 10.50@130 1.56 60'?

There isn't an official list, sounds like you have a nice running set up though. I loved my vig3600!

Honestly last summer sucked for cruise nights, but we'll see if we can get some good ones going this year. Bennigan's is the "big" Wednesday night here. Hope to see something on Saturdays...

Blowing through the converter on nitrous. It is hard to say what I gained because I switched soo much stuff when swapped them out.

I gotcha on that. I never got to hit mine with the kit, so I don't know if I would have had the same issue or not. The Yank I had in my '98 certainly liked the juice though!

BTW, good news on the it is alive!
