Most of you know I sell cars for a GM dealership close to Ames. I just traded for a 01 Z28 t-top, car was a one owner man in his 60's, red in color, auto car with factory chrome wheels, leather, 87k and new tire's. If this car wasn't the cleanest 01 I've seen come in I wouldn't be on here telling you about it, it is spottless. Since I traded for it I can sell it for what I could buy it for myself or family. $8500.00 thats a steal from what I've seen junk Camaro's have bringing lately around here. Just give me a call my cell 515-290-3556 if you want more info you've got to see this one. Thanks guy's ........Al Hobart

Hey guys! I am going to be doing a clutch swap in the near future and wanted some local input. I was thinking of the LS7 clutch and i posted my questions in the manual transmission section. and someone suggested the monster level 1 package. has anyone heard anything about these clutches??

LS7 clutch all the way! They grip great & you don't have to be the incredible hulk to push the clutch in........ I can't say the same for the Spec 3+ with Tick adj clutch m/c -It grabbed great but you had to have a least 2 people pushing the pedal in lol

Benji, are you going to be doing anything else to the car power wise? I had the monster stage 3 in mine and loved it. It was a bit of a bear to launch at first but once I got the hang of it I was in love. If I ever get another M6 Fbody (which I hope is sooner than later) then I will be going monster for sure. Either choice would be good for you if you plan to keep the car in it's current form for a bit.
Good luck.
Good luck.

dude i would seriously check out the act clutch from WS6 store, its pretty sweet and feels good. also not as much as monster, i have a buddy down here in columbus who had one. and something with the clutch went wrong. it was something maybe like a faulty clutch but it was something stupid with less than 2k on it and they would send him a new one or even give him a discount

I would eventually like to put a H/C setup, to make around 420 ish rwhp. Now in the thread i posted i have had 2 guys saying go with the monster setup. one is the owner/operater for monster clutches and the other is from Tick. and idk if they are telling me to get it because they are good or because they will get a commission check from me buying it lol.

I've had the LS7 clutch/LS2 flywheel setup for close to 3 years now. I have zero complaints with it at all. I have probably around 70 track passes on mine (when the car only had bolt-ons) and it still feels solid. Pedal feel is same as stock. When mine is ready for a replacement I will probably go with a stage 2 or 3 monster clutch. The LS7 was a great bang for the buck kit.

When I was going with a 6 speed in my junker, I was going to get a Monster, seems to be the way to go for anything more than a mild build.
Too bad I can't come and play on Friday, but maybe I will come to watch.
Hey Joey, you going to LSx in Indy?
