yeah kinda bummed but I know the tune was right & I didn't do anything stupid so that makes me feel better but I am really anxious to see what the hell happened..... i always figured it would eventually burn a hole in the piston cuz of the N2O but there was absolutely no signs of detonation on the plugs so I'm leaning towards something just gave up......
I will report back w/ pics the carnage!!!

Anyone around the Des Moines area have a trailer I could rent/borrow one of these coming weekends? Need to get my car to Kansas City to be tuned. I would do the Uhaul thing but don't want to get charged anything extra if I would need to stay longer for some reason. Just figured I would ask here to see if anyone was willing.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Wow its dead in here....... Anyone doing anything over the winter on projects???? I found out my LS1 problem was a stuck lifter & took out a lobe on the cam.
I'm currently pulling the motor out through the top on a C5......not fun & TBD if it can be done lol. Then its going into winter hibernation mode so i can work on my 54 Ford project

Well, bored and figured I'd share since there hasn't been much in this thread as of late...
We're currently rebuilding the 4L60e for Dirty Dave's 94 after all of his burnout contest antics (red TA from the ws6store openhouse burnout contest)
"Build" includes:
-Typical rebuild kit new clutches, seals, ect
-Transgo HD2 Shift Kit
-Yank 3000 stall
-B&M Tranny cooler
-Glowshift Tranny temp gauge
Tranny should be in this weekend if we don't have any more hang-ups. We're also going to do some other minor things to his car while it's on stands (paint calipers, CETA, general cleaning blah blah blah....it still has the burnt rubber all over the car from the 2011 openhouse).
I'll probably be posting up pics/thread when we finally get the car over here and start the work.
We should have his car at CFR next spring tuning shift points, and possibly testing out a 100 or 125 shot. Hoping for some low 12's on DR's with his car on spray. And of course, I'm sure he'll enter more burnout contests.
