Juiced96z,are you on the south side? I'm at Edgewood and 5 Points and i've got 20 sheets of 4x8 drywall in my garage that i'm trying to unload. Let me know if you want a couple of sheets and if your close enough to make it worth the trouble.

What, are you prejudiced against northsiders who don't mind a drive down to the little people?

guess i'll post here. i've seen/met most of you at some point or another, at one or many of the racetracks around. seen a few of the cars at the suds. 2008 should be a good year for the lsx crowd, we shall see.

i, too, am a new father. she turned 3 months on jan. 4 - granted she kind of interrupted my "build" (if you can call it that) i would not trade her for the world. i've been piecing together a low budget 6.0 project - should turn out ok and make an appearance before the end of the year. as it turns out..having a baby and buying a house really gets in the way when you're trying to build a car. damn it.

I've been watching long enough so might at well check in. I am on the Southside near 5 Points and Thompson. Have 00 SS w/ 408, home ported 241's, BBK intake, Torquer v.2, stock rear, usual suspension stuff, built t56, etc. Just got the car in September I think. Will be going to Suds, ORP, Muncie, etc as much as time will let. This is my first LS powered car. Had a couple other "street cars" in the past 5 or 6 years from a 78 Camaro w/ AFR 383 that ran 11's to a 83 Regal w/ a 505 bbc and a little nitrous. Regal should of ran low 9's to high 8's except it decided to run down about 85' of fence and 2 pine trees first instead. I parted it out and decided to go with a real street car that ran on pump gas and could drive anywhere. That is why I now drive the 00 SS.

I am currently debating head cam swap. Thinking AFR or Trickflows, Fast 90, and Texas Giant or l92/l76 package. Rear end is on the list also but can only do so much at a time.

Hey Joe, don't know if you remember me but I worked at the Lima Hires about 5 years back running the counter and driving parts. Tall lanky kid, name's Kyle. I worked over at your store a couple of times filling in. Anyways, I was going to give Nate a call but I'm sure things will just end up coming your way. Looking for something that will give me good power throughout. When I think about my driving I usually don't ring her our past 6k (unless I'm losing ) but most of it's spent between 2.5-5.5k. I've seen some of the larger cams (HPE Megadeath) put up some pretty impressive numbers on cars around here but with most of that coming later in the rpm's I didn't know if that's for me. Plus she's my DD and will be until next fall/winter so I'll want to keep it manageable to drive and get decent gas mileage . Would love to talk to you more about it to see what you recommend. I think I will probably give Nate a call later tonight.

I gotcha. I don't remember you exactly. But I can work with you on whatever you need. But for your needs and RPM range of 2500-5500k, a real big cam isn't in order.
