Hope everything works out for you man. LMK if i can help with anything. And I'm surprised you didn't Kill the Mother Fu(ker for hitting you.

Sorry, Thats just how I'd feel.

I'd have a murder case on my hand if a fu(king drunk hit me and didn't have a license or insurance...
But Thats why you should have full coverage at all times I guess.
Hope everything works out for Dave. He's a cool guy.

I was just sitting at a stop light. He hit me dead on going about 40 mph. Didn't even hit his brakes or anything. He pushed me up under the car in front of me. Her back tires were on my hood. He does not have insurance or a license. He hit me and ran. The cops tried to pull him over and he started a police chase. He ditched the truck and ran on foot. They had to tackle his ***. He denied everything. Dumb ***!

I'm going to get royally screwed on this. I have a feeling it is totaled. I do not have the extra $10k in parts I just dumped into it insured. If they take the car I am going to lose ALL the money and work I JUST put into it. They may give me the option to buy it back but I bet they want too much for it. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

10k and you didnt get a bleeder?

Lol past the joking part, if your insurance says that its a total loss and wants to take the car it is still yours untill you cash the check, so if they dont give you what you want for it you have plenty of time to remove parts from it.

Hey, I have a bleeder!

I doubt my insurance will be ok with me giving them the car with no engine, tranny, or rear end?!?

Well, I got the entire exhaust removed last night, and the trans/rear cradle lowered last night. Probably 30min from having the trans out of the car. The rest will wait till saturday

Anyone have a transmission jack? I have everything sitting on 2 huge floor jacks and a smaller jack lol

Have you knocked out the roll pin in the shifter linkage yet? That can be a big pain in the ***.

Nope, I will need to do that next so the trans can be removed from the torque tube

Dang, I'd swap drivetrains with you but I don't want to put that much $$ out right now. My car's in the air getting it removed now

I will have an extra bad trans if you need a core David. I don't know what they are worth
