I was totally intending on going over there with Benny on Friday, then I was blessed with an unexpected package the week before. Good work gentleman! Does anyone have a spare 10 second pass I could borrow, just until I get one of my own.

James, I want those lts. 11.80 is a very good run to. The last time I took my dog to the track I ran a blistering 14.40!!! Maybe after I get a couple of kids moved out, I'll be able to afford some speed. Im supposed to go to a cookout/pool party at the inlaws today. Should be GREAT with the cold and rain.

Just buy your kids parts for your car! I just bought my daughter an NX bottle heater.

I'm sure the wife loved that. Thats an awesome gift for someone whose 9 days old. Much better than a bunch of crappy baby toys that she will have ZERO interest in for another 6 months.

That's exactly what I was thinking. She can play with the heater way longer than toys.

True. My granddaughter is 9 months old and she would rather play with the box anyway. I wonder how she would enjoy playing with the box from a set of Richmond 3.73 gears. Hmmm.

saw a lot of cars at the suds yesterday. i guess they had some car show or something. i *think i saw james' stroker car and what looked like a white rs following it. i couldn't pick him out of a lineup if i had to, but the car sounded good. i was sitting in front of pop's lt1 swapped 72 ss el camino. had the ta up there windows up and hood shut - for good reason haha.

I saw the Elki and the T/A but didn't see you or your dad around it. I had the D-ricer out riding dirty and blacked out.

Damn, I need another fast car, I am starting to get the shakes from with drawl.

fixed to apply to my situation.

i know the feeling. i sold my car and pocketed a few thousand with hopes of buying a nice swap car and getting down. well, we see how that worked out haha. now i am nickel and diming a swap car that i plan to have on the road next summer. i guess the only good news is, in this declining economy, it's not like selling my car and parts is worth anything haha, so it'll always be around.

Congrats on the 10's James...... Im suprised it did not break....... any better of a 60 or hooking hard enough to lift the front end I am sure would have trashed it so in a way I would be happy haha.

I almost went to the Suds but went to a get together on Gasoline Alley...... FREE PIZZA!!

P.S. My sisters daughter will enter the world Tuesday and we will found out if ours will have to come early on Friday.... he is about as big as my sister's daughter is and she is 8 pounds and some ounces and was due on the 3rd..... we are due first week of October...... we will see.

Thanks man!
Yeah the white car with the black stripes was My Car and the white RS is my girls New car. We traded the old firebird for a white 96 RS with 42,5xx miles on it straight up even. The car just needs a fuel pump. (It's hard to start, then it's fine)

And I saw the elki with the lt1 in there. Thats pretty cool. I saw your car, But I didn't see you (although I don't know what you look like either) lol.
Take it easy man!

James

Correction! I traded a high mileage Bolt-on LT1 with lots of body damage and some mechanical issues for a SUPER CLEAN unmolested 96 rs (V6).
KBB was 2500 for my car at best.
KBB was 5200 for good condition for the 96
And almost 5800 for excellent condition!

And now days with the economy the Formula would not have gone for nowhere near what I wanted to sell it for and I didn't want to get stuck with dumping a ton of money into it to make the repairs. Along with rebuilding the engine when it pops, b/c I have beat the **** out of it for over 3 years LOL!
It's a DAMN good running car (ask anyone who has raced it lol) but it just isn't want we needed right now. I have a play car now and a show car if you may say. I love the camaro and it drives better than any other car I've driven. other than a cadillac lol.
Anyways. Yeah Amber is good with it, but she really misses her Formula. She misses the power. haha
So every once in a while I will let her take the Big Boy out to play. Then I don't hear her mouth for a few weeks. So it works out.

Who has the El Camino with the LT1?

I wanted to go to Suds last night but couldn't make it. About an hour drive for me.

I think it was s346k's dad's car... It was pretty cool actually. (Jet Black)
I see you have 1 in a monte carlo ss, Thats pretty cool too! It'd be a nice swap for the monte. Considering the old 305's they stuffed in them haha.

Nice car.

Yeah, the 180 hp 305 in that heavy car is a joke. Over 300hp with a 6 speed & big brakes is much better.
