WOW! I'm gone for 1 day and the **** hits the fan!
LOL - Why do I always miss the action??
This is too funny! So how about we all say F*ck it and put 200R4's into our RACECARS... We all KNOW they hold the most power of all. Oh and they are the lightest too!

So on another note, I just found me a 403 LS2 Stroker for a damn good price, And looks like the old Z will be up and running in no time!

Thats the plan...
I can't wait. I plan on going with a FAST 92/92 setup, TSP 17/8" LT's, 3" TD's, and a 4000 stall, along with a GOOD TUNE! Hoping for low 11's but we'll see. IF I get 10's that'd be even better. LOL

Do you need the 92/92? Seems to me that you could save some money and buy a used 90/90. I'm sure the minimal power gains may not be worth the money. Not sure. I would make sure you find somebody reliable to give you that GOOD TUNE.

Well to be honest, I just want the most out of my combo. But if I could get a good deal on a 90/90 setup, I would buy it w/o hesitation!

Hell a Victor style intake would really be key to me. But i just don't want to do that till I decide to Spray or not! I'm prolly gonna stay NA for a while!

As far as a tune goes, I have a few people in mind! 1 of which is VERY HARD to get ahold of!

BTW glad to hear we have a new member checking in with us! 1Fast98! What plans do you have for the car?

im just going to go threw the bottom end and put some rod bolts in it, then just a cam and maybe an intake. hopefully with a good suspension, converter and tranny it will run low 11s.

VERY achievable with a correct combo! Just don't skimp out on parts...

A cammed, longtubed LS1 with a good convertor is a good running car thats for sure.

VERY TRUE!
How many times do you hear of stock bottom end LS1's with a cam, lt's, and a big stall dipping into the 10's on spray and low 11's N/A.

Anyone go to PRI this past weekend? I heard it was quite smaller and not as many manufacturing vendors.

I didn't get to go, but the tranny/convertor shop I talked to today did, I will ask him about it.

I wonder if they showed anymore on Edelbocks new intake for LS1 cars.
