I believe it is true, that is his garage. I been there when we brought the cobra home from Chicago. I received a phone call tonight and I couldn't believe it, till I saw the picture on the news site. I am grateful I got to know Ben this past year and I pray for his family and God Speed Ben aka purdueranger.

Were going to hold a Vigil at O'riellys tonight at Midnight in Ben's honor. We will rev our cars for a minute and shut them down for silence for a minute. I think he would of liked that. Ben's mom said she would try to make it, but she hasn't slept since yesterday.
She said she will post info on the funeral on his facebook page and she expects it to me late next week or possible weekend. It depends on how soon their family can get to town.

Jeff and Chris please keep us updated on funeral arrangements.
I would also like to know if there will be any type of memorial fund or even just an address to send a donation for flowers.
I know it is to early to know yet, just let us know when you find anything out.

There is a group of us who talked and we decided to help his mom by going and putting the car on franks trailer and taking it to franks shop or Jeff's Sears store in greenwood. Then as group and anyone who wants to assist. Get the car back to running condition, then frank was going to list it on ebay at a reserve just above what is owed on the car. This way the funds will assist his mom with the cost.
We don't have a date on the build day, but it will be posted

Hey any of you guys know Chuck with convertible camaro who was Ben's Vigil last night he was in DD. He is a HVAC repair guy.
Jeff will get a kick out of this : Chuck and I worked at Tire America back in the mid 90's. He actually fixed my A/C his first day on the job as HVAC guy. Crazy enough it worked all the way up to last year. He used to have a Chevelle. He said last night he ran with a few of the LS1 guys but doesn't post here much. Here is my number have him give me a call Chris 317-652-2579

i wish i could have been there for that vigil, stupid me scanned over and saw oreillys and thought orp and guess what none of you were there, it was cool and classy im glad someone had a video, i never met him but any car guy would appreciate that so im sure he would be happy
