Saw a nice black firebird on bigs and littles going down I465 this afternoon, he wanted to play. But I been trying to locate a problem and didn't want spend the afternoon waiting for a flatbed if the problem arose again. Which it did later and I finally have idea what it is. It wasn't the top 5 reasons I thought. So next time I see the black bird I will have to do a couple pulls.

Sounded really nice, I am assuming longtubed with dumps. Also it looked like it had Rods with sperical rod ends for a torque arm.

Yeah that was Kevin! I just finished the car up for him about a week ago and he was actually going to WS98TA's house to figure out another issue with the car. It runs pretty good for what it is, BUT we have a few more things going in there this winter. It's 1 of those, I wanna drive it before the end of the year type things.

FWIW, I think it would've been a decent run for you Chris!

I was having one of those weird power cut out issues in 5th and finally realized my stop bolt for the shifter is fine for 1 thru 4, but in fifth it was getting all the way in. So when I would go to fifth it would go into neutral. Also it looks like my tune is just too friggin fat about 5500. I think the tuner just fattened it up back when the clutch started to slip. So I set the rev limiter down some till next spring. Then I am just going to go ahead and swap the 3.75 pulley to the 2.7 and plug in the meth sprayer.

Hey guys, would love some input from you guys. Been pretty bored with the Camaro for a while. Been browsing GTOs about the last year mainly 04s because of price and my buddy started throwing C5 ads my way. I dont use my back seat at all so I thought why not and found a nice one that caught my eye in kokomo. If the dealer will work with me Im considering it. Anybody know the dealer or close to there?

Check out my thread and the car.

I was thinking about doing the same thing last year. Was thinking about upgrading to Gto,vette, ctsv. If you plan on modding any of those, outside of engine parts, it's going to cost alot.
If money for mods isn't really a problem, or if your going to keep it mostly stock, then I say do it. All those cars are alot nicer than an fbody and can be fun in stock trim.
But if you have a limited budget and want to go fast, then fbodys are one of the cheapest cars to make fast.
Is your car paid off?
I only have 11 payments left and once it's paid off I can really start putting money into mine.
