Joey... I hope you do go 10.7 man.
But you'll still be in the back of all of us. hahaha

I can't wait for spring/summer.
Although my car won't be done til at least summer.
Too much work to do and not enough money. However it is going to MWC next month for some chassis work.

the most i can see the ta getting is a new windshield and a tune.

for some reason the car starts smoking and wilts up when it is bathed in sunlight. weird. the car would be perfect if we go to fl, though.

Andy, I say the struts/shocks you posted a link to are gonna be very nice for a street car. But definentely not gonna be IDEAL for a car that sees much Track time. I highly doubt they will allow the car to transfer weight and to really PLANT the tires into the ground. I think Drag Strip traction would suffer tremendously. IMHO. The fronts need to be soft and the rears need to be adjustable. And depending on the track conditions, adjustable struts/shocks can make the difference between hooking and spinning. I went to Muncie, and the only changes I kept making was tire pressure and shock adjustments and went from an 11.25 to a 11.05. Only thing I did differently that day was pulled my passenger seat and air filter and junk out of my console and went 10.993 at 125.61 mph with a lazy 1.659 60'.
So IMHO, having adjustments on the suspension and among other things, they do really help alot.
I say buy those if your car is a street car, if you wanna do street strip, QA1's or Strange Adjustable shocks and struts will do wonders. And you can adj them for street and strip. But the cost will double what those are... Good Luck Man!

hey guys... just checking in....figured I hollar on here a bit LMAO..

Winter goes so slow cause no sooner than its cold we are all awaiting for it to get warm again!! we are our own worse enemies it seems LMAO...

Im actually doing my best to prep the GXP a bit more to hopefully squeeze some more out of her this year....last year the whole last half of the season I was down due to my heim joint bolt snapping on my new control arms...had to wait for the company to make a new updated type to handle the torque I had...there arms were more for the V6 GP's LOL...but they took 4 months to get back to me with the new ones!

Going to be putting on a PTE turbo on her out back....so will have a MP T4 70 .96 A/R for sale shortly....hoping to get into the high to mid 11's this year with a little more boost and hopefully mid to lower 11's with the spray in combo with the E85

And just a P.S. winter blend ethanol SUCKS!! like 9mpg sucks!!

Looking for a beater too guys...if you know anyone...I have $600 to spend...so obviously its not gonna look like much but I need it to drive up and down the interstate and school and not **** out on me!

Let me know...ill be checking Craigs list too...

what up homie.... Get to working on that bisch

BTW, I got a beater for sale.
97 olds achieva, $1,000
I know it's more than your 600 you got, but thats what I need out of it. I don't really know anything about it yet tho. I drove it home and thats it. Has a powersteering leak i gotta fix and upper radiator hose that needs replaced. It blew out on the way home.
But other than those 2 things it drove pretty good honestly. I'll get it fixed here soon, maybe another week or so, and if you haven't found something, lmk!

Hope to see you out bro!

-James
