welp because of massive bills a debt im taking the "adult" road and paying that shizzz first 
so most likely no motor this year. (unless something drastic happends) for now just be slower than i would be in the bird

ya ya....not parting out a damn thing cuz when i do get a motor im not going to go through the same shiz all over again in the past 2 years ive dropped 5K just to maintain it to hold the power and with a tranny, and 2 rearends its still not garanteed to hold. With living on my own, and paying hospital bills just not in the cards this year. And joey you said you were going auto anyway you vagina

Hey guys,
Im grabbin up an 06 GTO in a couple weeks for a good price. But its got no motor. Im looking for an LS2 block, or a complete lq4 or lq9. It can have spun bearing, bad piston, exc. As long as the blocks good. I have the whole LS2 rotating assem but it has 4 cracked pistons, minus the heads and the block. (it went to ERL to be resleeved for a 454) Im wanting to build at least a 370 or 4XX for lots of spray. so anyone got any deals im lookin to buy. local only is why i posted here.
I know its no fbody but for the price i cant pass. Plus its only a mile away. lol i can push it and make engine noises that far.

You sent an ls2 to ERL to be resleeved for a 454? Or thats what you wanna do, or ??
I'm confused.
I know you said you are looking for an ls2 or LQ4/9 but I just didn't really understand all of what you are trying to say. sorry!

lol sorry guys, Im just looking for a block. So far...
Theres been some car/engine swapping going on. Im buying a roller gto. The guy i bought it from took the original motor and had erl build him a 454 with his original ls2 block. In the process he found a diffrent gto he wanted to put it in that had a built rear and was alot better looking car.
Now im takin the first roller and trying to trackdown a motor for it. I hope thats understandable now.
Id like to find an ls2 because of weight, but if i find a iron block thats fine too cause i can just spray a little more to make up the extra weight. idk this but will my ls2 rotating assembly work in an iron block?
