AGAIN, another reason I will not buy Single beehive springs OR another set of Patriot Dual Gold Valvesprings.... I have seen toooo many in person break. I will not buy them ever again.
My personal preference is PRC's or Comp Dual Valvesprings... I broke 3 Patriots on my engine and another friend broke 1 on his, and also you. Not to mention a few other people I know that had the same issue with theirs breaking. Just too many issues with them for my likings. Patriots are $255 and PRC's are $289. I know which has had more issues so I'd rather spend the extra $ now rather than later. But good Luck with the car Travis. FWIW, Just keep an eye on the springs at about 3k miles. Mine broke at 3500 miles. 3 of them. BUT in all honesty I do beat the **** out of my car so I can understand them wearing out, but 3k miles???? WTF!!!

I like all the info. I think im going to stay with the patriots, mainly cuz they have been in the car before 29K on the motor got shot with 125shot. And it was still running strong when i dynod it at pro tech dyno with 430hp. But i do believe the rings were going out something fierce. So on a "stock" motor with a 230 something cam, and me not beating on it but maybe couple times a month they should hold up pretty good.

Anybody know anyone that might be interested in a dash/body wiring harness. It has the bcm, fuse box, passenger air bag and all the resistors. Also have a headlight switch and gauge bezel. Pm me if interested

Had a good day drag racing in florida saturday, missed 1st place trophy and cash by .01 seconds in the true street class. Not bad for no practice in the car, did the 30 mile cruise, went straight to the staging lanes, and did the 3 runs with about 10 minutes cool down. But with the rules couldn't pop the hood. Temps were 80 degrees with overcast and good head wind. I got there a little late went from registering to tech to drivers meeting to 30 mile cruise. We didn't have time to remove the cooler or our chairs, do to the rules of not opening the trunk.
Got my fix, now I need spring to come here. While there picked up more parts for my termy eaton swap.

14.8 @ 98 mph
Not bad for a V6 mustang Auto. If I had practice probably could get down to 14.5. Scary is if the car had a gear, cold air intake, manual shifted, and a tire it would probably be a in the high 13's.
Heck I could believe it was beating mild bolt on 96-98 cobras. Heck my stock 01 with the wheel hop could only do 14's all day long.
