I was at the suds for like 3 hrs, just got back home, everybody was rolling out because of the storms. I was hoping to meet some cobra guys but unfortunately I was the only one out. I spent damn near all my time looking at the ZR1 that was there haha

Anyone on here do work on the side, or can steer me towards someone who can?

I've only had the car a couple weeks, and I'm already having quite a few issues. So I figured while its all apart I might do a few things. I just dont have the know-how, nor do I know anyone that really knows these things inside and out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well I had an extended warranty, that denied everything. The dealer cleared the codes so those didnt start popping up until I got the car home.
My oil pressure sending unit needs to be replaced, the a/c has gone out. I found a fix for the control unit (I hope) of just resoldering a few chips on the back of it. But, it needs to be recalibrated or something, as its just blowing hot air.
The cats need to be replaced, but I was just going to go aftermarket. The oil pan has a small leak, and so does the tranny output shaft.

The oil pressure sending unit is very simple on these cars. It can be done in a matter of minutes. As for the a/c Im not real sure on that. Im not real good with the HVAC stuff on the corvettes. The failed cats could be the cause of your SES light. The oil pan is probably a 2 piece pan which is known for its leaks. Draining the oil and cleaning it all up really good and resealing it will probably fix that problem. The trans output shaft leak I can take care of you there. Is it leaking between the differential and the transmission?

When did you buy the car? Most warranties don't go into effect until 30 days after

Most of those "extended" warranties are complete jokes. They either make you jump through a thousand burning hoops or make you use the cheapest most "hacktastic" repair businesses to get you back up and running... barely.

This warranty was a piece of ****. It went into effect immediately, but isnt doing its job, so I will just be cancelling it and using the money for the repairs.

Jeremy, I'm not totally sure where its leaking from. I just picked the car up from the dealer a little bit ago, and havent looked at it yet.

Ik I got mine with an extended warranty and it took care of most things but only electrical or motorized stuff. It didn't cover wear and tear. And it took 30 days to star working lol but! Good luck with yours. These cars bring a whole new meaning to money pits
