Well guys I sold the camaro about three weeks ago, and last week i picked up an 03 sonic blue cobra vert. I was originally just looking for coupes, but couldnt pass up on this deal. I bought it from the original lady owner and the car just passed 44,xxx miles and is bone stock. I love the car but I do miss the camaro some! Any ways, I was wondering if you guys knew of any local places that did work on mustangs/cobras? All the work/tuning on my camaro was done by lsx specific guys. I plan on doing full length subframe connectors, irs brace, irs bushings, x-pipe, catback, cai, and a pulley hopefully by the end of the summer. I will do the exhaust and intake myself, but the rest is a little out of my league! Anybody know of any good shops around Indy or really anywhere in Indiana? Ohh, and one thing I was wondering, what is Lucas Oil's rule on running a convertible? Do you have to have a roll bar installed? This car will be 95% street, but i may want to take it up there once or twice to see what it can run! Thanks guys! Plan on being out and about greenwood on the weekends until I head back to Purdue in the fall and the car goes into hibernation

Congrats on the new Cobra man, You should try to make the LS1Tech meet on Saturday June 11th... Bring some friends if you'd like to.

Also, Jeff (Sedanman) May know of someone who can help you with the Cobra. Or Chris C. Possibly. I'm sure someone will chime in soon tho!

Hey yall...checking in. I'm in Columbus, In for the summer as I have an internship at Cummins. I unfortunately don't have my ta up here, but how is the domestic car scene? So to those in Columbus...what's there to do here? Any cool places to check out around this state? Also great weather (sarcasm). We had a tornado about 5 miles south of us about an hour ago.

Columbus is the most boring city besides Shelbyville. I work down there more than I'd like and it is a damper. Let's hope you don't have att phones or else you will only have 3G near Edinburgh lol.

06 vlo I live right around that area. Actually Mann & Mills if you know where that is. I am always down to go to IRP or O'rielly. Just PM me anytime or if you see a pewter SS vert with black rims feel free to introduce yourself and say hey.

EJVYFZ: I believe the rule for convertibles at IRP is you have to wear a helmet no matter what but you don't need a roll bar unless you run 12.9 or faster. Hope you enjoy your new poopstang. J/K

Thats funny, yeah i know exactly where that is. I go that way when i go to my buddies on raceway, southport to mann to mills, then to 67, to ameriplex. I hate dealing with 37 and 465 cause right now its a cluster...

I question why they built termy convertibles too. Crazy enough the rollbar rule only requires a roll bar down tube on the drivers side, but it can be a removable.

Shops for install work. For metal work I would take it to Pro-Tree, exhaust: Main Street Muffler in greenfield, in. Pulleys you can usually find someone local with a tool. Tuning for mild local you could use Performance Specialist in nobelsville aka Dustin Hiday. Bob Kurgan can email you a tune and he comes to town twice a year to do special tunes.

I take my stuff down to Pauls Automotive Engineering in Cincinnati. http://www.paulsautomotiveengineering.com/

They tuned my fox and set up the suspension with the coilovers.

Pauls is doing my tune on my Eaton Swapped 01 cobra. They emailed me the tuned to download thru the predator. Going down next month for a final tune. It is going to be insane with 4.10's and Eaton boosted torque.
