Does anyone have a wideband around that wouldnt mind checking my AFR after the cars back together? The car before had essentially the same mods as are going back on it, but being a different motor and 1 7/8 headers I wouldnt mind knowing what its running at. Planning a stall and trans sometime in the next year so really dont want to tune it till that is in.

 

i'll be buying one in the next month or so. you're welcome to borrow it before i install it. it doesn't take long to rig up one of those just for verification. i did that a few months ago with one i had borrowed haha.

 

anyone with a shortblock ls1 or 6.0 they want to sell??? found out last night my truck is actually a 4.8 and im not even going to waist my time with it..as far as i have it torn down, i might as well swap something worthy in.

 

Why don you just have that block bored out to what you want it to be instead.

not worth the time when you can have a short block ls1 or lq4 for 500-700 bucks. id have too much wraped up in machine work and new pistons. i found a good deal on a lq4 longblock im picking up next weekend. and i could part most of it out and make my money back since i wont need anything but the shortblock. well, thats how i hope it goes.

yes sir. its basically just the short block tho..im selling the heads seperate but i could throw them in with it if you wanted them. engines still in the truck. give me a call or text if interested. my number is in a post a couple posts up.

its a 2003...it ran top notch. i bought the truck specifically to build. and the 4.8 just isnt going to be enough for me.

I hope it gets put off a little longer so I can get this car together. Tentative date of May 26-27th to get it back on the road. In the past it seems there is usually a get together that weekend of the 500 though.

Been really busy lately with personal things guys... I appologize I have not held a LS1Tech meet lately.
If you guys would like to have a meet this month... May 26th will work for me. Other than that, I don't think I can make it this month!!!
