Does anyone know who's car this is? My friend just posted this picture on facebook and said it was a fatal accident. The picture was taken at 10th and Poloco St. just south of IMS.

was a convertor he had on line but was not custom. been at least 5yrs ago. It was the one with the hardest hitting SRT rating. wish it was 4200 though! 60 ft about 1.61 to 1.64 with the best of 1.58 in good air @3500 pounds.

Got ya, Ive been hearing great things about the 3600 and 4000, but posts like this make me think just go big and get the 4000. I dont get to the track that much though honestly. I guess I might more though once I have a car that can run faster than a 12.8...

Cant help you there, but the MGW-P is the best by far in my opinion. Cheapest of the 3 best shifters for those cars and I never missed a shift with that bad boy. The centering spring makes the 2-3 a straight throw basically.

For sure, with boltons it went 12.1@110 and on a 100 shot of nano it went 11.1@125. She has it on the south side from time to time its a hugger orange Z with black wheels. Or if you live on the north side her or I can take you for a ride.

technically i have the SST 3600..its the truck version..not too sure what the difference is tho..but the 3600 is very street/strip friendly. it doesnt rev. up a ton from a dead stop. pretty smooth mannered converter. youll be happy.

Thats what I keep hearing and what Dave recommended for my car, mostly street, driving to work some, and stip a couple times a year. I want a car I can drive whenever I want, but go to the shootout and run true street 12.0.

i'd be happy with a 13.0 car - if that's the case you'll prob need a 11.7 car in normal weather. don't the shootouts typically run in hot weather? i know the da was 3k'+ here the last couple weeks. my bolt-on car went 12.2s @ 2200' - pretty sure the worn out converter and bent torque arm were holding it back.

should be no prob getting that sled into the 11s. the resources around this area for lsjuan cars is almost bottomless.
