OK guys.... I got the car home last night and got it fired up. Come to find out it needs a new motor or a rebuild. He failed to mention it was also knocking. But I ended up getting it cheaper than originally expected, And with the extra money I bought a set of Black z06 style wheels from him with new tires. It just sucks that the rod bearings are bad and knocking. But thats cool b/c I located a B4C cop car motor with only 56K miles on it for a VERY reasonable price and I'm going to be installing the new motor next month. Need about that long to save the money for the engine. The car should be on the road hopefully by the end of June or middle of July if I can get the cash together by then. Wish me luck....
And David, I'm keeping it man. The car only has 79,828 miles on it. Although it could use a repaint! But oh well!
Doesn't look too bad at all. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance. In the next few days or so.

I haven't really seen anyone explain why the TT vette only traps 122mph? I have seen several cam only vette's trap 120..... Who's car is this? I can see it doing that with like 5lbs of boost and making 450 but not 500.

It's official, I do have an LS1 Z28 now!

 

I wasn't supposed to say anything, but he definentely pulls harder this year rather than last. Just a few tuning tweaks he found he needed to adjust on his car. Car runs way better this year as opposed to last year. I know a few guys have ran him this year and EVERY 1 of them have said DAMN that car runs strong.

Slow 5.0.- You are the best run he has had other than Terry in his Cobra. And after watching the video, I'd say you got him, but with a longer run It Could have changed ??? He said his boost was Just starting to really come on when you guys let out. But never-the-less a win is a win!

Vette boy needs tires. PERIOD!

I see him and a few others ending up in jail or with some tickets soon though LOL.

Some people just like to race a little to much hahaha.

Get him some GOOD DR's and some time behined the wheel and it will be a good car. Hope the rear holds up.........

Not sure but I don't think he has had any real races with strong cars from a dig yet.

I saw him in one last season but the other car was a 5 speed car on street tires....... not really a race when you can't hook a 5 speed car for 2 gears.

 

Now I KNOW you are not trying to tell me that thats low mileage or anything

I paid $3,000.00 for it. It runs but it needs a motor.
It came with a set of Black z06 MS wheels- 17's in the front, and 18's in the rear. And it has 79,828 miles on it. I feel I got a deal considering I have located a LS1 for $900.00 with 56K miles on it! The motor came out of a B4C Camaro. I don't feel I got ripprd. LMAO.... Yeah I hope to be! We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I have a few plans for the car, but nothing major till Winter. Plan on going with full Bolt-ons for now and looking into a Heads/Cam package for this winter.
Maybe some spray after I learn a little more about how it works. I have quite a few friends who have offered to help me out with installing a nitrous kit. (Properly Installing 1) But just not 100% sure which route to go with the car for the time being.

 

Do nitrous first. It's fun!
