I hope for 11.5X's on motor and 10.6X's on spray but we will see. It is a stock shortblock until it fails.

Chappys car went 12.3X's with bolt ons, header and stall.

Weak part is rod bolts, but I will let you know for sure when mine comes apart.

Heard your going to give up on street tires and just roll around on slicks. Must be nice to have a garage sitting at county line and US31 to swap out vehicles.

I am interested to see how the fox runs, I fear my clutch might not be up to it. Should have the dyno numbers in the next week or so. Right now its out getting checked out for a random no-start issue.

Oh and its 90% finish here is a pic if it works.

While its out the coilovers are all getting dropped and alignment. My fancy blue tape wideband holder has been upgraded to a pod. Yes no console or door controls.

The DD cobra when its nice out is getting all the no-hop bushings and rear plate this winter. Going to swap in 4.10's or 4.30's in it. Since the fox is out of the garage been doing alot general maintenance.

I don't know. I'll give you a run for the "slowest" title.

Well ET streets, yeah it is nice having a 14 bay garage right in the heart of greenwood to store it when I need to. It also helps that the GT will be getting some goodies this winter so it won't be so bad to cruise the south side with. As a extra bonus on top of all that in the not so distant future we plan to swap out the wifes 4runner for a new G8 (hopefully GXP).

Congrats on the car I know its a long time coming and it looks awesome, can't wait to see it in person. If you need somewhere to get it aligned just let me know.

cam/stall/headers AND A GOOD TUNE is good for consistant mid 11s.

add 150 shot and you get mid 10s.

no weight reduction, just a bfg drag radial on stock wheels. pull weight and its faster.

Good luck get in the pinks event, figure 4-5 states of cars would be showing up. The one in milan tickets sold out 6 months ahead of schedule if I recall.

Jeff - Yep its is long time coming, I am having Pauls Automotive Engineering chase down the issue, tune the car and set up the alignment. He won AIX (american iron xtreme/nasa pro road racing) this year. Excellent person to take a car that was built from chassis up to sort out the issues. So what kind of mods is the GT getting? Whipple? If I had a GT I would pick up a take off kit of the shelby brakes. Seen them for $600 which is a smoking deal for four pots. Then throw on this smoking deal http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr...=667cPath=2_24

But a wheel/tire guy like you probably get stuff almost for free.

Me and a few friends are going out to california to Westech to watch another friends New LS2 based stroker get engine dynoed. Word is its going to be close to 600 N/A.

I wish the wife wants a bigger house and I want atleast a three car garage so it is only going to get the basics:

CAI
Axle back exhaust
Underdrive
Tune

I will probably put some GT500 take offs on it and it with some luck it should do high 12's.

Hey if your wanting a bigger house there is a place on fall creek just south of 96th street on the east side of the road. Its been up forsale for over a year and has a 5.5 car garage.

If you build a new home I highly recommend the homes with the garage on the end. Then move the garage forward 10' on the plans then do a double back garage. So 3 car becomes 6 car, but still looks like a normal 3 car from the front. I went to a home that did this in ohio, it was very nice. The home was only a $160K home, so it wasn't crazy.

Thanks, I was trying to keep as stock as possible from the exterior. Not bad for 20 year old original paint. It has little paint defects. The hood was a freebie and they did excellent work making it look good, but its too short and leaves a gap at the rear. I would go stock but the vortech sits too high in the front. If the mach scoops were any further back it would of been fubar. In the future it will be either a steeda vented hood. I drove it around the 'hood and the lake for a couple months trying to get mileage on the engine and trans. It drives really nice and firm, very firm. I can count change driving over it. The sound is the best part and with the 900 rpm idle it still has just the right amount rump rump idle. I was amazed how not insanely loud it isn't with the shortys, xpipe and ultra-flo welded dumps.
