You guys were talking about some reckless driver in a cobalt who bought a cobra. Is that the same kid who died in that crash in fishers this past saturday night? 03 Cobra crashed into a stone at IMI on Olio Road south of the bridge. Thats a scary merge even in the daylight. They said high speed had lot to do with it. I just heard from someone else he was only 17. What kind of parent buys there kid a 500+ hp car. Now there saying another car was there and they are trying to find it.

 

theres a lot of spoiled kids on that side of town. drive past the hamilton southeastern parking lot!

and Indy is not imune to idiot drivers. James and I have been around on a few nights where a few people thought they and everyone around them were Formula 1 drivers and learned the hard way that they were not.

I don't even really like going out unless its to the suds or something, to many idiots, to many people that get themselves killed, to many idiots that think just because the have a concealed carry permit that that means they can flash the gun at hang outs and threaten to cap people..... then said person who is in jail sends his mommy after everyone....

Last time I was out with the car that guy in the old 350Z with a small block was talking trash to another guy and vise versa and got punched in the mouth.....

Yeah I miss all that crap lol.

The tire shop was about the only drama free place LOL.

It suprises you? Take a kid who I am sure thinks he is Dale Jr, take him out of a SLOW car and put him into something with some pretty good power not to mention RWD and known for racing and driving like an idiot and pretty soon the odds will catch up to him.

 

hmm, I remember clearly the night that kids mom came after that guy.. LOL.. That was a funny yet scary night.

ya a little bit, dont make light of it! we were all just talking about racing this kid in that thread a week ago and now he is dead! its just a little scary, i respect my car but they can get a way from you fast, just makes you think a little. mine bit me once luckily i was in the middle of nowhere with a field on both sides...

 

Sorry if it seems like I am taking light of it but you have to remember I have seen it happen quite a few times in Indy over the years. Guess I am numb to it.

I had a close call being stupid in my old 96 and since then I don't cruise much nore do I race on the street..... I grew up pretty fast.

Have a close call like I did, walk away with an undamaged car and have everyone wondering why you are still alive and your car is not wrecked and on fire and you realize really quick that the odds are against you.
