Didn't have a console. This was in a G-body.

With the amount you move the stick back and forth, I don't think it will work with a stock console. Unless you cut it up pretty good.

It'll be too far forward and will hit the a/c ****.

I'd look into a Cheetah or something with a short stick and a short throw like that...If you want it in the stock location.

The Prostick/QuarterStick is so tall we actually build a box that mounts them about 1.5" lower than the fox-body floor(in the stock t5 hole). You'd probably have to try something like that in the f-body if there's room in the trans tunnel.

If my car ever got to the point that I needed a th350 or 400, I was gonna build a little platform that put it just about the console. So I didn't have to cut anything.

The shifter is so tall it wouldn't feel right at all.

ok how does the cheetah shifter work? do you have to move it around the point (looks like between 1 and 2 gear) or does it move itself? sorry if that make no sence i don't know how to explane it better.

I dont have one but im pretty sure that it works the same was as a normal shifter but when you pull back on it for the rev manuel valve body it moves side to side on its one so you just have to keep pulling back.. im not possitive on that but i did hear it somewhere i just cant remember

Yeah it's spring loaded. When you pull it into 2nd and let go, it'll slide over so when you're ready to go into 3rd it's a straight pull back.
