I think once all this snow melts off, I might tackle it. Where are you located at?

So I'm looking for someone here soon to help me with my T/A. I put headers on before putting it away and it's very blatty when it's cold. I think it's hitting something in the muffler area with the extra vibration. Is there anyone around the Lincoln area who may be able to help look at it and if nothing else, put the description in better words than me so I can put it on here? I won't have the car out until after I come back from Vegas the 19th of March. Any help would be cool!!!

Did you put poly motor mounts in? Usually they help with the Y pipe banging on the k member. I'd give that a try

Any difference in those available? I would hear it hitting though wouldn't I? This is a loud rasp in the exhaust that calms a little when warm.

ahh is it an ORY? What catback do you have? Certain setups are more prone to rasp than others. Putting some form of cats in the Y will tame it down some, and unless it's a die hard race car, the few hp you loose is neglible.

No, you'll need two cats. One per bank. Magnaflow hi flow cat's aren't bad at all price wise. Corsa is super raspy without any.

I heard a sound clip on here with headers and Corsa and it sounded amazing. Must have been catted. When I get it out can someone do a ride along with me to make sure that that is what I need?

Is there one of the sponsor sites on here that sells the Magnaflow ones? I just looked at the WS6store and they only had SLP in pairs that were $314.

The slp cats are WAAAAY overpriced. You can check ws6store or summit. If you were closer to omaha, I'd follow and let you know if you need cats or not. I just got a new exhaust setup so I'm somewhat curious as to the sound from behind.

At idle the car sounds amazing. It's when I start accelarating past 3k that it gets raspy. I'm in Omaha twice a week for school.

The WS6 store didn't have the Magnaflows. All I know is that I set off car alarms with it... And not driving through a parking lot. lol

I can't tell you how many alarms I set off, especially after I got my cutout put on. After 3k with my car I can tell you that you better roll up ur window if I run someone cuz its stupid loud...in a good way , if you come to omaha with ur car you can hit me up sometime and I can take a look at it, but i never had much rasp with my corsa before my LT and ORY install.

I'll bite the bullet sometime in the spring and drive it down. We'll see how fun the drone is. I got the Corsa because it didn't drone. lol Then I went big and got Jet Hot headers.

I loved the sound of the Corsa and thought the headers would only make it sound better! So far it's making me look silly. haha
