if your car is a dedicated race car and track times are all that matters.... then i would go with the TH400
Both would be cheap to do just depends on your goals.
Im starting to think about what i want.... I dont even know how my tranny is still going... lol, im sure it wont last much longer. I decided on the 5.3 because its cheap..... but mostly because the stock shortblock has proven itself over and over agian to handle alot of boost very well making 550HP-700HP for long periods of time.... the 5.7 and 6.0 not so much.
Besides if i blow the 5.3 im only out $425, lol.

pacesetter ($370 with y pipe) is the best bang for the buck! But if money isn't a big concern go with Kooks ($900 for just headers).
Sure you will get other opinions, though.
